Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced HVAC Warranty Technician to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of HVAC systems under warranty, ensuring customer satisfaction and system reliability. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on HVAC systems, including air conditioning, refrigeration, boilers, and mechanical systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems and perform electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters to identify faults accurately.
- Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and HVAC design plans to facilitate effective repairs and installations.
- Conduct system maintenance, including HVAC system installation, repair, and routine servicing to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize hand tools and welding equipment to repair or replace mechanical components as needed.
- Diagnose issues with building automation systems (BAS), electrical systems, and plumbing related to HVAC operations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction during service visits.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HVAC service technician with a strong background in system repair and maintenance.
- Construction experience or property maintenance background is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, ammonia refrigeration, and boiler operation.
- Ability to read schematics, mechanical drawings, and HVAC design plans accurately.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic instruments such as ohmmeters.
- Experience with electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting electrical systems within HVAC units.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL or driver certification is a plus.
- EPA certification for handling refrigerants is required; additional certifications in HVAC/R or building automation systems are advantageous.
- Strong mechanical skills with the ability to repair complex mechanical systems efficiently.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to maintenance and repairs.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
