Responsibilities:
- Assembly mechanical components and systems -sheet metal products
- Setting up and operating hardware insertion machines (Heager, PEM).
- Installing studs, pem nuts, rivet
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and assembly instructions to assemble mechanical components accurately.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to assemble products according to specifications.
- Perform quality checks on completed assemblies to ensure they meet the company's standards.
- Identify and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the assembly process.
- Document assembly processes and maintain records of completed work.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a mechanical assembler in a manufacturing company
- Previous experience with operating hardware insertion machines such as Heager, PEM is a plus
- Experience with installing studs, pem nuts, rivets
- Mechanical assembly within a manufacturing environment, including assembling cabinets is preferred
- Able to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and schematics.
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment.
- Mechanical aptitude
- Sheet Metal job shop experience
Hours are:
Monday through Friday 7am to 3:30pm
The pay is up to $26.00 an hour based on experience
Pay: Up to $26.00 per hour
