You will not be considered for the job if you do not live on Maui or do not have any aluminum TIG welding experience.
Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to work with various materials and tools. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to read and interpret schematics. The Fabricator/Welder will play a crucial role in producing high-quality gates and fences that meet our specifications and company standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform welding tasks using MIG, TIG, or stick welding techniques on various materials.
- Utilize plasma cutting equipment for precise cuts and shaping of metal.
- Measuring and cutting metal
- Selecting proper metal components for welding
- Choosing the correct welding method for a particular task
- Following technical drawings
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet design specifications.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Follow all safety procedures implemented by management
- Prime and painting of fabricated components as needed
- Onsite welding with all necessary tools & equipment required for a successful job
- Perform periodic machine maintenance
- Weekly inventory check and stocking of shop materials
- Assist with receiving and stocking incoming materials
Skills
- Proficient in welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
- Proficient in welding Aluminum, Steel, and stainless steel.
- Experience with plasma cutting preferred but not required
- Strong basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Ability to communicate with team members and work well with others
- Solid mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Ability to read and understand detailed technical drawings without supervision and complete projects to a high degree of accuracy.
- Capability to fabricate components accurately based on specifications.
- Familiarity with crane operations for moving heavy materials safely.

Pay will be commensurate based on experience level.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
