Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Flatwork Laborer/Concrete Flatwork Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete work and be proficient in various finishing techniques. No Experience but eager to learn? We are willing to train the right candidate. This role involves working on construction sites to ensure high-quality concrete surfaces are achieved for both residential and commercial projects. The Concrete Finisher will collaborate closely with other professionals to deliver exceptional results.

Duties

Prepare and set up concrete flatwork projects according to specifications.
Prepare and execute concrete floor coatings on existing floors.
Finish surfaces using hand tools and power tools to achieve desired look.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations on the construction site.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Snowplowing and Salting commercial lots in the off season.

Skills

Proficiency in concrete finishing techniques, including smoothing, leveling, and texturing surfaces.
Familiarity with power tools used in construction, such as trowels, grinders, and saws.
Strong understanding of safety protocols on construction sites.
Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
Valid driving license is needed for transporting materials and equipment. A CDL is a plus but not required.
