Maintenance Technician – Convenience Stores & Gas Stations

We are a growing convenience store and gas station company operating multiple locations across the United States. We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to support our Colorado locations by ensuring all stores, equipment, and facilities remain safe, functional, and well-maintained.
Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance across our convenience stores and fuel stations. This position requires hands-on experience with building systems, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fuel-related equipment, and general facility repairs.
The ideal candidate is reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable traveling between multiple store locations.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs at C-stores, gas stations, and related facilities
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building issues
- Perform preventative maintenance to reduce equipment downtime
- Maintain and repair:
- Lighting fixtures and signage
- Electrical outlets, switches, and panels
- Plumbing fixtures, sinks, toilets, and water systems
- HVAC units, thermostats, and ventilation systems
- Doors, locks, windows, and store fixtures
- Gas station equipment and exterior structures
- Assist with fuel system-related maintenance and vendor coordination
- Inspect locations regularly and identify repair needs
- Complete work orders and provide updates on completed repairs
- Coordinate with store managers, vendors, and contractors when required
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Respond to emergency maintenance calls when needed
Qualifications
- 2+ years of maintenance experience (commercial or retail preferred)
- Experience working with convenience stores, gas stations, restaurants, or retail facilities preferred
- Knowledge of:
- Electrical systems
- Plumbing repairs
- HVAC troubleshooting
- General construction and repairs
- Preventative maintenance procedures
- Ability to diagnose problems and complete repairs independently
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to travel between multiple locations in Colorado
- Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment/materials as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- HVAC certification
- Electrical or plumbing experience
- Experience with fuel dispensers, underground storage tanks (UST), or gas station equipment
- Experience managing multiple service locations

Schedule
- Full-Time
