Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair a wide range of HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and mechanical systems.
- Perform installations of HVAC equipment in accordance with design specifications and schematics, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC systems to optimize performance and extend equipment lifespan.
- Troubleshoot electrical diagnostics issues using tools such as ohmmeters and test meters; identify faults in electrical systems and resolve them efficiently.
- Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and building automation system layouts to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions.
- Collaborate with clients to provide exceptional customer service, explaining repairs clearly and ensuring satisfaction.
- Maintain detailed service records, reports, and logs for all work performed; adhere to safety protocols at all times.
- Assist in property maintenance tasks related to HVAC/R systems and plumbing as needed; support team members in complex projects requiring mechanical systems repair expertise.
Requirements
- Master Gas Fitter License and/or Refrigeration License
- Proven experience as an HVAC service technician with a strong background in system repair, installation, and maintenance.
- Construction experience or prior work on building projects is highly valued.
- Solid understanding of schematics, HVAC design principles, electrical diagnostics, refrigeration systems, and mechanical systems repair.
- Proficiency with hand tools, electrical testing equipment such as ohmmeters, and other diagnostic devices.
- Knowledge of building automation systems (BAS), electrical systems, boilers, appliances repair, and property maintenance is preferred.
- Valid EPA certification for refrigerants; valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (including driver license if applicable).
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.

Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
