Responsibilities

Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, sheet metal work, and structural repairs using welding repair techniques such as MIG welding, soldering, and automotive welding equipment.
Utilize hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and airless paint spraying equipment to restore vehicle exteriors with precision.
Conduct auto painting, automotive refinishing, and detailing to achieve a flawless finish that meets industry standards.
Repair or replace automotive parts such as auto glass, bumpers, panels, and other components using automotive parts installation techniques.
Apply fabrication repair techniques involving sheet metal work and custom fabrication to restore damaged areas or create new components.
Perform vehicle maintenance tasks related to auto restoration, auto body refinishing, and cosmetic repairs to ensure vehicles look their best.
Collaborate with team members on auto estimating, customer service interactions, and vehicle inspection processes for accurate assessments.
Handle heavy lifting safely while working with automotive structural components and parts during repairs.

Experience

Proven experience working as an automotive body technician or in a similar auto repair role within a dealership or independent shop environment.
Strong knowledge of automotive structural repair, auto restoration techniques, and sheet metal fabrication.
Skilled in MIG welding, soldering, welding repair, and the use of automotive welding equipment.
Familiarity with auto painting processes including airless paint spraying and automotive refinishing methods.
Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance, auto glass installation, and automotive parts replacement.
Experience with auto estimating software and customer service interactions is a plus.
Ability to operate various hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and detailing equipment efficiently and safely.
