Industrial Climate Control Technician

Emergency Response | HVAC | Mechanical | Travel

Not Everyone Is Cut Out for This Job. Are You?

This isn't your typical 8-to-5 technician position.

Some weeks you'll be home every night. Other times, your phone may ring with little notice, and you'll be packing your bags to travel across the state—or across the country—to respond to a major water damage loss or other emergency project. You may spend several weeks away from home, working long days to help restore hospitals, manufacturing plants, commercial buildings, schools, data centers, or other critical facilities after an unexpected event.

You'll sometimes work in buildings without power, in hot or humid conditions, around large industrial equipment, or in areas recovering from severe weather where conditions are constantly changing. It's physically demanding, mentally challenging work—but when everyone else is dealing with chaos, you're part of the team that helps put things back together.

If you're looking for an easy job, this isn't it.

If you're looking for meaningful work that challenges you, teaches you specialized skills, and gives you the opportunity to make a real difference every day, keep reading.

Why This Work Matters

When hospitals lose cooling, manufacturing plants flood, commercial buildings suffer major water damage, or critical facilities experience equipment failures, they can't simply wait for repairs. Every hour of downtime costs money, disrupts operations, and impacts people.

That's where we come in.

We are a global leader in temporary temperature and humidity control solutions, helping customers protect facilities, recover from disasters, maintain production, and keep critical projects moving.

Every project is different.

Every customer is counting on us.

Every day brings a new challenge.

What You'll Actually Do

As an Industrial Climate Control Technician, you'll work closely with our Sales and Operations teams to install, troubleshoot, maintain, and remove specialized temporary climate control equipment at customer locations.

One day you may be installing temporary cooling equipment inside a manufacturing plant.

The next, you'll be towing equipment to a flooded commercial building.

The following week, you may be traveling to support a large emergency restoration project.

No two days are the same, and that's exactly why our technicians love what they do.

What You'll Learn

This is more than a technician job—it's an opportunity to build a specialized career.

You'll gain experience in:

Generator support systems
Equipment diagnostics and preventative maintenance
Safe towing and transportation of specialized equipment
Customer service and project coordination
