Job Description
We are hiring a Drain Technician / Power Washer to join our service team. In this role, you'll be responsible for diagnosing drain system issues, performing drain cleaning and minor repairs, operating hydro jetting and power washing equipment, and providing quality service at customer locations.
This position is ideal for dependable, safety-conscious individuals who enjoy hands-on work, problem-solving, and working both independently and as part of a team.
Pay
- $31.00 per hour
- Overtime opportunities available
Schedule
- Monday–Friday
- 2:00–3:00 AM start time
- 8–12 hour shifts
- No on-call or weekend work while working as a temporary employee
- On-call and weekend work may be required upon permanent hire
Qualifications Required
- Valid driver's license with a current medical card
- Clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic electrical and plumbing knowledge
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to climb, crawl, work under equipment, access rooftops, and enter confined spaces
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow directions
- Professional attitude with a commitment to workplace safety
Preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of drain cleaning experience
- Minimum of 1 year of hydro jetting experience
- Experience operating and maintaining drain cable machines
- Experience operating commercial power washing equipment (3,000 PSI / 10 GPM) and hydro jetting equipment (4,000 PSI / 18 GPM)
Responsibilities
- Diagnose drain system issues and perform minor repairs
- Perform drain cleaning using cable machines and hydro jetting equipment
- Operate commercial power washers up to 3,000 PSI / 10 GPM and hydro jetting equipment up to 4,000 PSI / 18 GPM
- Maintain the cleanliness and proper operation of assigned service vehicles and equipment
- Complete daily route sheets and submit required documentation for billing
- Report directly to the Drain Service Manager
- Interact professionally with customers and team members while maintaining safe work practices
- Perform additional duties as assigned
