Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Service Electrician to join our dynamic team and deliver exceptional electrical solutions across various commercial settings. Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair commercial electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, and low voltage wiring in accordance with local electrical codes and NFPA 70 standards (National Electrical Code).
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately execute wiring and system layouts.
- Diagnose electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and troubleshoot complex industrial electrical systems efficiently.
- Perform high-voltage electrical wiring tasks safely on construction sites or renovation projects while adhering to electrical safety procedures.
- Install programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other industrial automation components to support manufacturing or facility operations.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or failures before they impact operations.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment skillfully to complete electrical work precisely and safely.
- Ensure all work complies with NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association standards), NEC (National Electrical Code), and other relevant safety regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure timely completion of projects within scope and safety guidelines.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician with a strong understanding of industrial electrical systems and commercial electrical wiring.
- Demonstrated ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
- Knowledge of high-voltage electrical wiring, low voltage systems, and high-voltage safety procedures.
- Familiarity with NFPA 70 compliance standards, NEC regulations, and local electrical codes.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting complex electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
- Ability to work on construction sites or during renovation projects while maintaining high safety standards.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, power meters, and other essential electrical equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues quickly and implement effective solutions.
- Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients effectively.

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
