The Opportunity
Byers Industrial Services is seeking an accomplished Senior Electrical Project Manager to join our expanding construction management team in preparation for a major data center construction project in Frankfort, Indiana, anticipated to begin in early 2027.
We are targeting experienced electrical construction professionals with 7 or more years of project management experience preferred, a proven background in large-scale industrial construction, and the ability to independently estimate, competitively bid, and successfully manage complex electrical projects.
Large-scale industrial electrical construction management experience is mandatory. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to oversee substantial construction budgets, large field workforces, aggressive schedules, and technically demanding electrical installations.
Direct experience with data center construction, mission-critical electrical infrastructure, and complex power distribution systems is strongly preferred.
This is a long-term, full-time career opportunity, not a temporary or project-specific contract position. We are seeking a senior-level leader who can contribute to both the successful execution of our existing projects and the continued growth of Byers Industrial Services.
Initial Assignment & Transition to Frankfort, Indiana
We are hiring ahead of the anticipated early 2027 start of our Frankfort, Indiana data center project.
Selected candidates will initially be assigned to one of our two active major construction projects for hands-on, company-specific training and integration into our established project management operations.
Vineland, New Jersey – Data Center Construction
Work alongside our project management and field leadership teams on an active data center construction project, gaining familiarity with company procedures, electrical construction operations, scheduling, financial reporting, quality standards, and project execution expectations.
Chesterfield, Virginia – Warehouse & Distribution Center Construction
Support construction management operations on a major industrial warehouse and distribution center project while becoming familiar with our field leadership structure, project coordination procedures, reporting requirements, and operational standards.
These initial assignments are designed to familiarize experienced Project Managers with Byers Industrial Services' processes before transitioning into their leadership responsibilities on the Indiana project.
Once the Frankfort data center project begins in early 2027, the selected Project Manager will transfer to the Indiana jobsite.
Byers Industrial Services provides Project Managers with a company credit card for approved business-related travel expenses, including authorized travel associated with project assignments.
