Vertical Earth is seeking an experienced Bridge Project Manager to join our growing team. This position is responsible for managing bridge construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with contract requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bridge construction, transportation infrastructure, and heavy civil projects, along with the leadership skills needed to coordinate field operations, subcontractors, clients, and project teams.

Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of bridge construction projects from award through completion
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and cost controls
Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, owners, inspectors, and internal project teams
Review plans, specifications, contracts, and change orders
Monitor project progress and address issues impacting schedule, budget, or quality
Ensure compliance with DOT specifications, safety requirements, environmental regulations, and company standards
Lead project meetings and provide regular reporting to leadership
Support procurement, subcontract administration, and material tracking
Oversee project documentation, billing, and closeout activities
Foster positive client relationships and support future business opportunities

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
Minimum 3 years of experience managing bridge construction projects
Experience with DOT, municipal, or transportation infrastructure projects
Knowledge of bridge construction methods, plans, specifications, and contract administration
Experience with scheduling software and project management systems
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
