Job Overview

Hook Roofing and Construction is searching for a part time project manager to supervise jobsites, help customers, and photograph projects for local permit department. Since it will be part time and on a as-need basis, this would be a great job for someone who is semi retired looking to earn some side income. There will be no manual labor required other than possibly picking up some extra materials from the hardware store. This is strictly a supervisor role.

Responsibilities

Manage jobsites making sure everything is getting done correctly and to code.
Makes sure the jobsite stays clean and organized.
makes sure homeowners feel taken care of and all their needs are met.
Follow a checklist and take photos of the roofing process to submit to permit department.
Picks up materials from suppliers if workers come up short on materials. (suppliers will drop off a majority of materials)
Returns any extra materials to suppliers once job is complete.
Does final quality control of competed projects.

Requirements

Experience in construction is preferred, but not necessary.
Must have a reliable truck.
Be able to use a phone or tablet to take photos and follow checklist.
Not have a fear of heights.
Willing to travel distances up to 1.5 hours away from Baton Rouge.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to speak Spanish highly preferred.
Willing to walk on most roofs.
