Aaron’s Fabrication is a family-owned, high-volume contract manufacturing company that operates in the Gas Utility industry located in Clinton Township Michigan. Our company is a tier 1 supplier to some of the largest Fortune 500 Utility companies in the Midwest and is expanding nationwide with the vision to have our products across the country in the next 10 years. Aaron’s Fabrication is owned and operated by Sue Bursteinowicz CEO (Mom), Jim Gilliam Operations (Dad) and their (Son) Vice President Aaron B. Gilliam. All three are extremely involved in day-to-day operations and are on the shop floor daily. - Rotary Transfer CNC Machining

- Semi-automated and manual assembly
- Low pressure and high-pressure leak testing
Experience needed:
- Must be able to turnkey fit and fabricate piping systems from customer prints using turn tables
- Must be able to GMAW piping, sheet metal and plate carbon steel
- Must be able to GTAW sheet metal and plate aluminum
- Must be able to pass customer on site weld tests fillet, butt & branch pressure piping
- Must be able to pass API 1104
- Must be able to weld Natural Gas Piping (Leak Proof) Root, Hot & Cap Passes primarily using the GMAW process (Miller Pipeworx RMD)
- Pipe weld out of position to pass customer tests 5G & 6G prefered
- Must be able to use weld turn table
- Must be able to use band saws, bridgeport mills and manual lathe
- Weld 1"-6" piping SCH 40- 80
- Must be fluent in reading & interpreting 2d drawings (weld symbols, dimensions, specifications)
- Experience with miller welding machines (Invision, Dynasty, Pipeworx, Syncrowave)
- Some production pipe welding along with low volume high pressure large fabrication
Previous experience (pipe fabrication is highly prefered):
- 5 years in pressure pipe welding
- 5 years in fit up and fabrication of piping systems
- Industry experience: Oil and Gas, Nuclear, General industry, Water Wastewater, Aerospace, Defense
