Duties
- Repair and restore vehicle frames, panels, and structural components using welding repair techniques such as MIG welding and soldering.
- Perform automotive body repairs including dent removal, sheet metal fabrication, sanding, and auto restoration to achieve a flawless finish.
- Utilize automotive welding equipment, power tools, and airless paint spraying systems to execute repairs efficiently and accurately.
- Conduct auto body refinishing, auto painting, and automotive cosmetic repairs to match original factory finishes.
- Install automotive parts such as auto glass, bumpers, trim pieces, and other components with precision.
- Use hand tools and fabrication techniques to create custom parts or repair damaged sections according to manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain detailed documentation of repairs performed and communicate effectively with customers regarding repair processes and estimates.
Qualifications
- Proven dealership or automotive repair shop experience working as an automotive body technician or collision repair specialist.
- Proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, sheet metal fabrication, and automotive structural repair techniques.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems, auto parts installation, and vehicle maintenance procedures.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and automotive painting equipment.
- Experience with auto estimating software and customer service skills for effective communication with clients.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of auto restoration processes and automotive cosmetic repair methods is highly desirable.

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
