We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in HVAC/R systems, equipment repair, and appliance repair. This role involves diagnosing issues, performing maintenance, and ensuring the efficient operation of air conditioning and refrigeration systems. Job Description
- Carry out regular maintenance of heating systems at commercial and residential sites
- Perform installation of heating systems at new properties
- Inspect previously installed heating systems at commercial and residential sites
- Perform any necessary repairs to previously installed systems
- Work carefully to follow all current regulations for heating work to ensure that all installed systems pass inspection and are up to code
- Communicate well with clients to ensure client satisfaction
- Communicate well with fellow employees
- Keep detailed reports of work done at various job sites
Job Skills & Requirements
- Valid gas fitters license required
- Valid driver’s license required
- Three or more years of trade experience as a service technician
- Thorough knowledge of heating system maintenance and repairs
- Ability to drive company vehicles to various commercial and residential sites
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in client and co-worker relations
- Time management skills
- Problem solving and decision-making skills necessary
- Knowledge or experience with Jobber Software a plus!
