Duties

· Monitor quality assurance activities- Samples and Cook tests-incoming receiving samples.

· Investigate non-conformance issues- Fill out Corrective action reports- metal in product rejected off all lines.

· Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities-cook tests- samples testing

· Check COA’s for incoming products

· Perform and document all swab testing, listeria, salmonella, APC, water, air and allergen, follow procedures. Send out to appropriate lab for testing. Record findings on log sheet. Retest if needed.

· Knowledge of all packaging equipment- Metal Detector, Weight checkers, printers and be able to assist production.

-Verify Sanitizer mix- Are the pph levels correctly and paperwork verified

· Follow quality assurance policies and procedures

· interpret and implement quality assurance standards

· Daily pallet verification and partials count

· Monitor sampling procedures and directions for recording and reporting quality data as performed by the QA Cook

· Monitor testing and inspection of materials and products to ensure finished product quality

- Verify Process control Sheets, verify partials and finished pallets, verify all packaging paperwork for accuracy

Experience

Proven experience in quality assurance or quality control within a manufacturing setting, preferably involving medical devices or regulated industries.
Hands on experience in baking
Experience with calibration and use of measuring instruments such as height gauges, dial indicators, dial calipers, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM).
Demonstrated ability to perform quality audits, analyze data accurately, and interpret production documents effectively.

Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
