Role Description The Field Service Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Pearl River, NY. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating and air conditioning systems for residential and commercial clients. Daily tasks include diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, performing scheduled preventive maintenance, and completing accurate service documentation. The technician will travel to customer locations, communicate clearly with clients about findings and recommended solutions, and ensure work areas are left clean and safe. The role also involves collaborating with the service team, following safety and regulatory guidelines, and keeping up to date with product and technology updates.

Qualifications

Technical knowledge of HVAC systems, including troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance.
Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively, with basic mechanical and electrical skills.
Strong customer service skills, including clear communication and professional onsite behavior.
Organizational skills for managing work orders, documenting service activities, and prioritizing tasks.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally to multiple job sites in New York, Jersey City and surrounding areas.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in HVAC or a related field is preferred.
Comfort working in varying indoor and outdoor conditions and ability to lift and move equipment as needed.
Commitment to safety practices, regulatory compliance, and continuous learning in HVAC technologies.
