Project Manager / Estimator
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Project Manager / Estimator to join our growing team. We are a full-service commercial general contractor and site contractor specializing in commercial buildings, multifamily developments, excavation, utilities, and site development throughout Connecticut.
This position is ideal for an experienced construction professional who can manage projects from initial estimating through completion while working closely with owners, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed estimates, budgets, and bid proposals for commercial construction and site development projects
- Review plans, specifications, and contract documents
- Perform quantity takeoffs and develop accurate project pricing
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier proposals
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and costs
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, owners, municipalities, and subcontractors
- Oversee project progress from preconstruction through final completion
- Conduct job meetings and maintain project documentation
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and potential project issues
- Assist with procurement, subcontract agreements, and change orders
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in commercial construction estimating and/or project management
- Strong understanding of commercial building construction, site work, utilities, and excavation
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, civil, and MEP drawings
- Strong estimating and organizational skills
- Experience with construction software and Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of Connecticut construction practices and permitting processes is a plus
Preferred Experience:
- Multifamily, commercial, and mixed-use development experience
- Site development, utilities, and excavation estimating
- Experience working with subcontractors and municipalities
- OSHA training and construction certifications are a plus

Salary Range: $80,000–$130,000+ depending on experience and qualifications.
