We are currently seeking HVAC Sheet Metal Foreman/Lead Person to manage small crews on commercial projects in and around the Charlotte area.
This is a working position and you will be expected to work on your tools as well as keep your crew motivated and on track!
Responsibilities:
- Manage a small crew of 2 to 4 workers.
- Make sure your crew has all materials and equipment they need.
- Preform layout for your crew based on blueprints.
- Must be proficient in OSHA Safety Rules.
- Must have the ability to recognize safety hazards.
- Must direct your crew to STRICTLY perform their job in a safe manner.
General HVAC Install:
- Fabricate, assemble and install Sheet-Metal Duct (Square, Round, Rectangular etc.).
- Seal (pookie) and insulate duct.
- Install VAV boxes.
- Set curbs for roof top units.
- Strictly follow all safety policies.
Requirements:
- 6 years or more of experience, working with commercial sheet metal, duct work and/or HVAC systems.
- Prior Lead/Foreman experience.
- Bi-Lingual is a plus!
- Able to read blueprints.
- Experience with installing HVAC Duct and related equipment in commercial buildings.
- Tools for the trade.
- Transportation to and from the jobsite.
- Experience operating scissor lifts and aerial platforms.
- Experience operating duct jacks.
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Must be able to handle physical work.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $32.00 - $42.00 per hour
