Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team! Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, kitchen equipment, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and repair appliances, HVAC/R systems, mechanical equipment, and electrical components using schematics and technical manuals.
- Install new appliances, HVAC units, refrigeration systems, and kitchen equipment following manufacturer specifications and safety protocols.
- Conduct troubleshooting for complex mechanical issues using schematics, technical drawings, and diagnostic tools.
- Operate company vehicles safely for on-site repairs or equipment deliveries as needed.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used to ensure accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate construction or renovation projects involving mechanical systems or building infrastructure.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in appliance repair, HVAC system repair, refrigeration, and mechanical systems repair.
- Proficiency in reading schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams for troubleshooting purposes.
- Hands-on experience with HVAC & appliance technology including installation and repair of air conditioning units, kitchen equipment, and refrigeration systems.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with team members and clients about maintenance issues or repairs.
- Experience with maintenance, repair and operations (MRO), including equipment repair and preventative maintenance strategies.
- Construction experience or familiarity with building infrastructure projects is a plus.
- Ability to operate company vehicles safely while adhering to all safety regulations; leadership qualities are valued for mentoring junior technicians.
