This position is responsible for maintaining electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings.,
- Understanding and applying blueprints and technical diagrams
- Using various devices, including ammeters, voltmeters, thermal scanners and cable testers, as well as hand and power tools
- Installing or replacing wiring, lighting, electrical controls, breakers and other electrical devices
- Inspecting and maintaining electrical systems in homes and businesses
- Adhering to state and local building regulations. Completing work orders on time
- Documenting the work completed and materials used
- Working with other electricians, general contractors, architects and other team members
- Assisting other trades, when needed
- Other duties as assigned
