Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and service low voltage systems including CCTV surveillance, access control, alarm systems, fire alarms, and audio-video equipment.
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately implement system designs.
- Manage cabling, wiring, and conduit installation using hand tools and power tools to ensure neat and compliant setups.
- Configure remote access software for system monitoring and control across various platforms.
- Perform field service tasks such as system testing, calibration of sensors (motion detectors, IDS), and verifying proper operation of security devices.
- Collaborate with construction teams during building phases to ensure seamless integration of telecommunication and electrical components.
- Maintain detailed documentation of installations, service reports, schematics updates, and system configurations for future reference.
Skills
- Mechanical aptitude for working with power tools, hand tools, and construction materials related to low voltage installations.
- Experience with CCTV systems including surveillance cameras (CCTV), sensors (motion detectors), and alarm systems (fire alarm).
- Ability to troubleshoot security systems such as IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems) and access control hardware.
- Knowledge of computer hardware components relevant to security system setup and maintenance.
- Service technician experience in field settings with a focus on security system installation or maintenance is highly preferred.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
