Job Summary
AID, Inc. is seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager to lead construction management and owner's-representative services for active landside roadway and transportation infrastructure improvement projects in Central Florida.
The work spans two complementary roadway packages:
- Roadway Mill & Overlay: Milling and asphalt resurfacing of landside roadways, including pavement restoration, pavement markings, and associated traffic control.
- Roadway Signage & Infrastructure: Installation and removal of overhead sign structures and sign panels, dynamic message sign (DMS) support structures, guardrail, roadway lighting, electrical, fiber/communications infrastructure, thermoplastic pavement markings, and related civil work.
You will represent the owner's interests in the field, coordinating with the engineer of record, contractors, and facility operations. This is a hands-on, field-based leadership role on live roadway corridors where quality, safety, and schedule discipline are critical and work must be sequenced around active traffic.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the on-site Construction Manager / Owner's Authorized Representative for the roadway packages, from preconstruction through closeout.
- Manage day-to-day field operations, monitor contractor progress, and enforce compliance with contract documents, plans, specifications, and applicable standards.
- Review and administer CPM (Primavera P6) baseline and progress schedules, schedule narratives, and delay analyses; track critical path and float.
- Lead and document project meetings, pre-activity conferences, and coordination with operations, stakeholders, and adjacent projects.
- Review submittals, shop drawings, RFIs, pay applications, and change order documentation; make recommendations to the owner.
- Oversee maintenance of traffic (MOT), erosion/pollution control, and safety compliance, including night and weekend operations as required to minimize impact to the traveling public.
- Conduct field inspections and quality assurance, coordinate testing, and manage punch list, commissioning, turnover, and record-document closeout.
- Track project costs, budgets, and contingency; identify and mitigate risks proactively.
- Maintain thorough daily reports, correspondence, and project records.
Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
