Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with installing, wiring, and maintaining electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately
- Use hand tools, power tools, voltmeters, ohmmeters, and conduit benders safely and effectively during daily tasks
- Perform conduit bending and electrical wiring to specifications following safety protocols and NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association code) standards
- Support the installation of low voltage systems and ensure compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) requirements
- Follow strict electrical safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment on construction sites and job locations
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify issues and assist in troubleshooting using appropriate testing equipment
