Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Responsible Master Plumber (RMP) to lead and oversee plumbing operations on construction sites, residential projects, and commercial developments. This pivotal role involves managing plumbing teams, ensuring building code compliance, interpreting technical drawings, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality. As an RMP, you will be responsible for coordinating plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance activities while adhering to local building codes and construction regulations. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise plumbing teams on construction sites, ensuring work is completed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with project specifications.
- Review construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately interpret project requirements.
- Manage plumbing system installation, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes, plumbing building codes, and construction regulatory standards.
- Conduct site inspections to verify quality control, safety protocols, and adherence to project timelines.
- Oversee pipe threading, pipe fitting, welding, assembly of plumbing components, and use of hand tools and power tools.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure seamless communication and project progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including schematics interpretation and construction estimating details.
- Enforce safety procedures on-site to prevent accidents during heavy lifting or the use of power tools.
- Manage plumbing team schedules, training sessions, and performance evaluations to foster a productive work environment.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of construction plumbing practices across residential and commercial projects.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and construction plans.
- Strong understanding of plumbing building codes, local building codes, and code compliance standards.
- Mechanical knowledge related to domestic water systems, HVAC integration, pipe threading, welding techniques, and system maintenance.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting equipment, and carpentry tools for assembly or remodeling tasks.
- Experience managing plumbing teams with excellent leadership skills in a construction site environment.
- Ability to perform construction estimating accurately for plumbing components and labor costs.
- Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Customer service orientation with effective communication skills for client interactions.
- Capable of interpreting technical drawings such as schematics or mechanical diagrams related to plumbing systems.
- Valid commercial driver’s license preferred for site travel; knowledge of heavy machinery operation is a plus.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations; handyman experience or general remodeling background is advantageous.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
