On site, you verify measurements, set equipment, fabricate and fit ductwork, and install ventilation components exactly to company standards and manufacturer specifications. You run a start-up when needed, test system performance, and note any items that require follow-up so every component is compliant and operating correctly. Before leaving, you tidy the workspace, complete accurate digital paperwork, and check in with your supervisor. Some days wrap with a quick second stop or an overtime call—weekends can occasionally come into play.

Install heating, air conditioning, and ventilation equipment and related products for Residential New Construction and Retail teams in line with company requirements and manufacturer guidelines.

Fabricate and install sheet metal ducts and duct fittings.

Perform A/C system start-ups as needed and test system operation for proper function.

Identify issues, coordinate or perform required follow-up repairs, and verify all components meet compliance and performance expectations.

Complete neat, accurate, and timely documentation on a computer, laptop, or tablet.

Follow all safety policies and procedures; use PPE correctly.

Work under general supervision and support other tasks as assigned.

High school diploma or GED (equivalent experience may substitute).

Previous HVAC installation experience.

Ability to read and interpret installation plans/documents.

Good verbal and written communication skills; effective English communication required.

Beginner computing skills and ability to use a computer, laptop, or tablet.

Valid driver’s license.

Willingness to work overtime with little notice; occasional weekend work.

Commitment to maintaining and cleaning the work area after completion.

HVAC trade school certification.

2+ years of residential HVAC experience.

EPA Certification.

Primarily at occupied residential homes and active construction sites; limited office time.

Travel by vehicle to and from work locations.

Frequent exposure to construction environments: equipment, heights, confined spaces, noise, dust, hazardous materials, and odors.

Indoor and outdoor work in all weather (heat, rain, cold, wind) with appropriate PPE.

Lift and move up to 50 lbs frequently.

Regular climbing, bending, crawling, kneeling, and crouching.

Work at heights; climb ladders and stairways; occasional platform/scaffolding work using required fall protection.

Wear required PPE: hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs, masks/respirators, reflective vests, gloves, and safety-toe construction-grade boots.

Sustain long periods of standing, walking, or sitting.

Hear and distinguish speech and other sounds to safely operate phones and equipment.
