HVAC Service / Installation Technician

Air Solutions has been privately owned and operated since 1999, providing residential HVAC and propane services throughout Fairfield County.

Our decisions are made locally by people who understand the trade—without layers of corporate management or unnecessary red tape. We offer a supportive, team-focused teaching environment where experienced senior technicians provide hands-on training, technical guidance, and on-the-job support.

We are looking for dependable and motivated HVAC Service Technicians to join our growing team.

Responsibilities and Duties

Service of residential HVAC systems
Troubleshoot problems as they arise.
Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision.
Interact professionally with other employees, customers, and suppliers.
Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments.
Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations.
Learns and embraces the AIR SOLUTIONS vision and mission statements and works within the scope of the defined position to continually strive to achieve and execute the goals.
Have a positive "can-do" attitude with open dialogue addressing problems, issues, and obstacles that prevent you, your fellow team members, and the organization from achieving their goals and realizing success.
Additional duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

in Installation or Service Some skills, we are looking for.

Low and high voltage wiring skills plus.
Understanding of gas piping, both flex and hard pipe a plus.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Willing and able to complete all necessary items on a tablet-based system, providing our customers with the most advanced experience in the industry.
Be dependable and on time.
Pleasant can-do attitude.
Ability to lead and train others.
Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, troubleshooting, and repair skills.
Preferred experience in residential service.
Outstanding communication skills with co-workers, supervisors, clients, vendors, and others.
Represent AIR SOLUTIONS in a positive manner at all times, both inside and outside the workplace.
Ability to work a flexible work schedule, including overtime, nights, and weekends and on-call as required.
Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
