Concrete Finisher and Curb Crew

Florida Wall Concepts is seeking experienced Concrete Finishers for our Curbing Crews.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and set forms: Align wooden or metal forms, install rebar or wire mesh, and check subgrade elevations.

Pour and spread: Direct concrete truck chutes, signal drivers, and use rakes or shovels to distribute wet concrete.

Level and smooth: Use hand screeds, bull floats, and power trowels to flatten the surface and bring water up.

Finish and edge: Mold expansion joints, round edges, apply non-slip broom finishes, or grind and polish surfaces.

Cure and seal: Monitor weather effects and apply hardening or sealing compounds

Applicants must have Curbing and Sidewalk finisher experience. Form experience is preferred.

Job Requirements & Skills:

Physical stamina and strength: Ability to lift heavy weights (50+ lbs), stand, and kneel for long hours outdoors.

Tool proficiency: Know how to use groovers, edgers, trowels, vibrators, and power screeds.

Blueprint reading: Understand project specifications, plans, and grade measurements.

Experience: High school diploma plus previous construction or masonry labor experience.
