We are seeking a full time, experienced Maintenance Tech to join our team at Highland Hills Apartments, a luxury rental apartment community in Cumberland, RI.
Responsibilities
- Complete turnovers in a timely manner.
- Complete work orders in a timely manner.
- Complete preventative maintenance on systems.
- Ensure grounds are litter free at all times.
- Maintain maintenance shop in good order and stocked on supplies.
- Communicate effectively with manager about about matters of the community.
- Be immediately available in the event of snow in winter.
- Additional duties as assigned by Property Manager.
Skills
- Proven experience as maintenance technician
- Appliance Repair
- Electrical knowledge (switches, plugs etc)
- Plumbing
- Basic carpentry
- Drywall repair
- HVAC troubleshooting (HVAC cert is a plus!)
- CPO is also a plus
- Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
- Good physical condition and strength
Interested individuals must have a valid DL, reliable vehicle, own hand tools, and availability to rotate on-call responsibilities.
Hours are Mon.-Thurs. 9:00-5:00 and Fri. 8:00-4:00. Rotating weeks of on-call responsibility.
