Industrial Maintenance Electrician
Location: Fernley, NV 89408
Compensation: $40.00–$42.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:00 PM | Occasional Overtime and Saturdays

About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Electrician to maintain and support electrical systems, production machinery, and facility equipment within a manufacturing environment.
This hands-on position is responsible for electrical troubleshooting, equipment repairs, preventive maintenance, and new installations. The ideal candidate has strong industrial electrical experience and is comfortable working with PLC-controlled machinery, motors, control panels, injection molding equipment, CNC machines, hydraulics, and related facility systems.
What You’ll Do
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical and electronic systems
- Install and repair wiring, circuitry, control panels, motors, fixtures, and production equipment
- Diagnose equipment problems using electrical prints, machine interfaces, and PLC software
- Troubleshoot PLC inputs, outputs, and control-related issues
- Perform electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic repairs on production machinery
- Maintain injection molding machines, CNC equipment, and supporting facility systems
- Plan and complete electrical installations in accordance with applicable electrical codes
- Occasionally design and build control panels for smaller facility projects
- Complete preventive and predictive maintenance using a CMMS
- Maintain accurate maintenance, equipment, and inventory records
- Order replacement parts and help manage spare-parts inventory
- Support new equipment installations and coordinate with outside contractors
- Identify and promptly report equipment problems and safety concerns
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required
- Current electrician license or recognized electrical certification required OR a completed Associate or Bachelor’s degree in electrical technology, engineering, manufacturing, or a related field
- Approximately 5–10 years of industrial electrical or manufacturing maintenance experience
- Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment and performing minor PLC programming
- Ability to read electrical prints, schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals
- Experience installing electrical components, wiring, conduit, and cabling
- Strong electrical, mechanical, and equipment-troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Plastics or injection molding maintenance experience preferred
- Leadership experience and OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification are pluses
Physical Requirements
- Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs or ladders, bend, squat, stoop, and safely handle tools
- Comfortable working around industrial machinery in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment
- Ability to operate material-handling equipment when required
Pay: $40.00 - $42.00 per hour
