Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to company safety guidelines.
Work closely with production supervisors, engineers, and quality control teams to meet production goals and deadlines.

Confirm all operators are clocked in, at their stations, and actively working throughout the shift.
Serve as the first point of contact for machine, material, or process issues on the laser cell, and alert Maintenance, Quality, or Engineering promptly when needed.
Communicate daily happenings, open issues, and priorities to the next shift to ensure a smooth handoff.
Monitor material availability and coordinate with material handling or purchasing to prevent downtime.
Provide hands-on guidance and training to operators, including new hires, on machine operation, quality expectations, and safety procedures.
Verify first-article and in-process quality checks across the cell to catch issues before they escalate.
Reinforce safety protocols and PPE compliance among team members, addressing concerns immediately.
