Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, gas piping systems, and HVAC components on construction sites.
- Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and repairs. THIS IS A MUST!
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to complete plumbing tasks efficiently.
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes, plumbing building codes, and safety regulations to guarantee code compliance and project integrity.
- Perform maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) tasks on existing plumbing systems to optimize functionality and longevity.
- Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely while adhering to safety regulations; operate construction vehicles as needed.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to deliver exceptional service while maintaining a focus on quality workmanship and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Proven construction experience with a strong background in residential and commercial plumbing projects.
- Valid journeyman plumber license or equivalent certification demonstrating comprehensive plumbing knowledge.
- Experience with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and understanding construction plans.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, welding equipment, and carpentry tools related to plumbing installation.
- Knowledge of local building codes, plumbing codes, gas piping systems, HVAC integration, and safety regulations.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for measurements and material estimations.
- Strong mechanical aptitude combined with excellent problem-solving skills; capable of troubleshooting complex plumbing issues efficiently.
- Customer service-oriented mindset with clear communication skills for effective field service interactions.
- Experience working on construction sites with heavy lifting requirements; familiarity with construction plans and remodeling projects is a plus.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
