Commercial Plumbing Assistant Project Manager / Field Supervisor / Estimator to Help Build a Team Known for Quality

We're a growing commercial plumbing contractor with a close-knit team of 7–10 employees, and we're looking for an experienced Journeyman or Master Plumber to join our leadership team.

This position works directly with our Project Manager to supervise field operations, support our plumbing crews, assist estimating projects as needed, maintain high quality standards, and help deliver commercial projects safely, efficiently, and correctly the first time.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled plumber who enjoys both working in the field and leading others. You'll have a direct impact on our projects, our team, and the continued growth of our company.

Responsibilities

Supervise and support plumbers on commercial plumbing projects.
Perform hands-on plumbing work as needed while leading by example.
Ensure installations meet plumbing codes, project specifications, and company quality standards.
Conduct quality-control inspections and identify issues before they become costly callbacks.
Work closely with the Project Manager to coordinate manpower, schedules, and project priorities.
Assist the Project Manager to estimate projects during the bidding process.
Review blueprints, specifications, and construction drawings.
Coordinate with general contractors, inspectors, suppliers, and other trades.
Troubleshoot field challenges and develop practical solutions.
Monitor job progress, productivity, and workmanship.
Mentor, train, and develop apprentice and journeyman plumbers.
Promote and enforce company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
Foster a team culture built on professionalism, accountability, and craftsmanship.

Qualifications

Journeyman or Master Plumber license preferred (or ability to obtain a MABCD license).
Extensive commercial plumbing experience.
Previous experience as a foreman, lead plumber, or field supervisor preferred.
Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, codes, and installation practices.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
Preferrably some experience estimating but the right person can be trained.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
A commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who cares about doing the job right—not just getting it done.

The right person naturally notices details that others miss, takes ownership of quality, communicates well with customers and coworkers, and enjoys helping less-experienced plumbers grow in their careers. You're someone others look to for answers, who leads by example, and who takes pride in building projects that will last.

If you are an experienced commercial plumber who wants more responsibility, enjoys mentoring others, and wants to play a key role in the success of a growing company, we'd like to talk with you.

What We Offer

Competitive pay based on experience.
Steady, year-round commercial work.
Paid time off and holidays.
Opportunities for advancement into Project Management.
A small-company environment where your experience, leadership, and ideas make a real impact.
