We're looking for a professional service electrician who enjoys working with homeowners, thoroughly evaluating electrical systems, identifying safety concerns, and presenting clear repair and upgrade options.
Crowe Electric is a residential service company based in Norwell and serving homeowners throughout the South Shore. Our work includes electrical troubleshooting, service and panel upgrades, lighting, generators, EV chargers, surge protection, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, safety inspections, smart-home products, and other residential electrical improvements.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Running residential electrical service calls from start to finish
- Arriving on time with a clean truck, uniform, and professional appearance
- Listening to the homeowner and understanding their concerns
- Troubleshooting electrical problems accurately and efficiently
- Performing a complete electrical safety evaluation when appropriate
- Identifying code violations, safety hazards, and potential future problems
- Explaining findings in language the homeowner can understand
- Building and presenting multiple repair or replacement options
- Helping customers make informed decisions without using high-pressure tactics
- Completing approved electrical work safely, neatly, and professionally
- Testing and verifying all completed work before leaving
- Keeping the customer’s home clean and protecting floors, walls, and belongings
- Taking clear jobsite photos and documenting all findings and completed work
- Creating accurate invoices and collecting payment through ServiceTitan
- Communicating with the office regarding job status, additional work, materials, and scheduling
- Keeping your service vehicle organized, clean, and properly stocked
- Working productively with an apprentice or helper
- Following Crowe Electric’s service process and customer-service standards
- Representing the company professionally in the customer’s home and throughout the community

- GFCI and AFCI protection
- Dedicated circuits
- EV charger installations
- Whole-home surge protection
- Portable and standby generator connections
- Electrical safety inspections
- Smart switches and other residential electrical upgrades
- Code corrections and homeowner-requested improvements
What We’re Looking For
- Valid Massachusetts Journeyman or Master Electrician license
- Valid driver’s license and a clean, insurable driving record
- Strong residential troubleshooting and installation experience
- Thorough knowledge of the Massachusetts Electrical Code and current NEC requirements
- Ability to work independently and make good decisions in the field
- Ability to lead and train an apprentice
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Comfortable explaining findings and presenting multiple options
- Comfortable using an iPad, smartphone, and field-service software (ServiceTitan experience is a big plus)
- Clean, organized, dependable, and professional
- Able to pass applicable background and driving-record requirements
- Willing to participate in continued technical, customer-service, and sales training
Residential service experience is strongly preferred. We are looking for someone who understands that being a great service electrician requires more than technical ability—it requires communication, professionalism, cleanliness, efficiency, and genuine care for the customer.
