Appliance Technician – Restaurant Equipment & Refrigeration
Are you an experienced refrigeration or restaurant equipment technician looking for a long-term career opportunity? We are seeking a dependable, hands-on technician to support equipment repairs and maintenance across multiple restaurant locations throughout Palm Beach and surrounding areas.

What You’ll Do
You will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of restaurant equipment, including:
Hot Equipment
- Toasters
- Fryers
- Grills
- Exhaust fans
- Coffee machines
- Holding cabinets
Cold & Refrigeration Equipment
- Shake machines
- Smoothie machines
- Fry hoppers
- Under-counter refrigerators
- Walk-in coolers
- Walk-in freezers
Additional Maintenance
- Assist with troubleshooting HVAC issues and rooftop A/C units when needed
- Perform basic electrical and plumbing repairs
- Diagnose mechanical problems and determine necessary parts and repairs
- Use power tools and maintenance equipment safely
- Communicate with restaurant managers, maintenance team members, and supervisors
- Document and communicate maintenance needs through text and maintenance software
- Respond to urgent equipment issues and take initiative to resolve problems
- Help maintain high standards for safety, service, and cleanliness
Service Area
The position is based in West Palm Beach and supports locations throughout the surrounding area, including:
- Boca Raton
- West Palm Beach
- Fort Pierce
- Clewiston
- Lake Placid
Travel throughout the service area is required.
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of refrigeration experience preferred
- Restaurant equipment repair experience is highly desirable
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to diagnose equipment issues and identify required repairs and parts
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Dependable, flexible, and customer-service oriented
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Willingness to respond to urgent maintenance situations when needed

Qualifications & Physical Requirements
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle insurance required
- Ability to travel between restaurant locations
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, twist, climb ladders, and work with power tools
- Ability to work in both hot and cold environments
- Ability to work safely and follow company quality, service, cleanliness, and safety standards
- Must be comfortable communicating with restaurant managers, supervisors, and maintenance personnel
Schedule
- Normal schedule: 8:00 AM–6:00 PM
- Occasional evening work may be required
- Weekends and holidays are worked on a rotating schedule

Compensation
Pay is based on experience and qualifications.
