What Success Looks Like

On a day-to-day basis, success in this role means arriving on time, diagnosing and repairing plumbing systems accurately, and treating homeowners with respect. Your daily work will include:

Diagnosing, repairing, and installing plumbing systems.
Performing drain cleaning, leak detection, and pipe repairs.
Handling sewer line repairs, septic services, and repiping or remodeling tasks.

Communicating with dispatch and the office regarding job progress, needed parts, and follow-up steps.
Keeping your tools, materials, and work areas clean and organized.

How responsibilities differ by experience:

Licensed Plumbers: You will operate independently, running residential service calls and managing jobs from start to finish.
Plumbing Apprentices: You will work under supervision appropriate to your credential level, helping with service calls while gaining the hands-on experience needed to advance your career.
