About SEED Build and Civil Construction
SEED Build and Civil Construction, LLC is seeking a dependable, experienced, and safety-focused Journeyman Plumber to join our growing team. We perform commercial, industrial, and civil construction projects throughout Central Texas and are looking for a skilled professional who can independently install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems while upholding the highest standards of workmanship and safety.
The ideal candidate will possess a valid Texas Journeyman Plumbing License, OSHA 30 certification, strong construction experience, and the ability to read and interpret plumbing and construction plans.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial, industrial, and civil construction projects.
- Read and interpret construction drawings, plumbing plans, specifications, and project documents.
- Perform underground plumbing installations, rough-ins, top-outs, and final fixture installations.
- Install water, sewer, storm, waste, vent, and gas piping systems.
- Lay out plumbing systems according to project plans and code requirements.
- Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, inspectors, and other trades to ensure successful project execution.
- Inspect plumbing systems and troubleshoot issues to ensure proper operation.
- Ensure all work complies with applicable plumbing codes, project specifications, and company standards.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and plumbing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, materials used, and inspections completed.
- Assist with material ordering and inventory management as needed.
- Lead and mentor apprentice plumbers and plumbing helpers.
- Participate in project planning and scheduling activities.
- Maintain clean, organized, and professional work areas and jobsites.
- Follow company safety policies and project-specific safety requirements at all times.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Texas Journeyman Plumbing License (Required)
- OSHA 30 Certification (Required)
- Minimum 3 years of commercial, industrial, or construction plumbing experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret plumbing drawings, construction plans, and specifications
- Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices
- Experience installing and repairing water, waste, vent, sewer, storm, and gas systems
- Knowledge of PVC, CPVC, PEX, copper, cast iron, and other piping systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Valid Driver's License preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience on commercial construction projects
- Experience with underground utility and site plumbing installations
- Experience supervising apprentices and plumbing helpers
- Backflow certification is a plus
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work in active construction environments
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in trenches, crawl spaces, and elevated work areas when necessary
- Ability to safely operate tools and equipment associated with plumbing construction

Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- Occasional Saturdays as required by project schedules
Work Location
Buda, Texas
SEED Build and Civil Construction's office is located in Buda, Texas. Project sites are generally located within an approximately 80-mile radius of the office.

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
