Weekday 2nd Shift. One week Monday-Wednesday and following week Monday-Thursday.
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing and construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of high-quality structures, ductwork, pipe systems, and custom fabrications that meet strict industry standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing advanced welding techniques and fabrication skills in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project requirements.
- Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and welding techniques to join various metals with precision.
- Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment to shape and assemble metal components.
- Measure materials accurately using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools to ensure proper fit and alignment.
- Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, drilling, threading pipes, and performing soldering or mechanical assembly as needed.
- Follow safety protocols related to rigging, crane operation, ASME codes & standards, and construction site practices.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to quality standards throughout the fabrication process.
Skills
- Extensive construction site experience with a strong understanding of safety procedures.
- Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW welding processes, and specific welding techniques.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings accurately.
- Skilled in using calipers, micrometers, hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment for fabrication tasks.
- Knowledge of pipe threading, ductwork fabrication, sheet metal work, and assembly processes.
- Mechanical knowledge including rigging operations with cranes and forklifts for material handling.
- Familiarity with ASME codes & standards for quality assurance in manufacturing and construction environments.

Pay: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour
