Licensed Journeyman Electrician – $30–$36/hr – Ottawa, KS
Seeking Licensed Journeyman Electricians for a commercial retail project in Ottawa, KS. Must have strong commercial electrical experience and the ability to complete installations with minimal supervision.
Wages: $30–$36/hr, based on experience and qualifications
Scope of Work:
- Perform commercial electrical rough-ins and finish work.
- Bend and install EMT conduit, including offsets, saddles, and bends.
- Pull wire and install branch circuits and homeruns.
- Install lighting fixtures, receptacles, switches, and electrical devices.
- Complete panel and equipment terminations.
- Read electrical prints and troubleshoot installation issues.
- Follow jobsite safety procedures and applicable electrical codes.
Requirements:
- Valid, active journeyman electrician license required.
- 8+ years of commercial electrical experience.
- OSHA 10 required.
- Ability to read blueprints and work independently.
- Experience safely working from ladders and scissor lifts.
- Basic electrical hand tools, required PPE, and reliable transportation.
- Commercial retail project experience preferred.
Pay: $30.00 - $36.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
