Duties
- Perform automotive structural repairs, including frame straightening and sheet metal work, utilizing welding repair techniques such as MIG welding and soldering.
- Conduct auto body repairs, including dent removal, panel replacement, and sheet metal fabrication using hand tools, power tools, and automotive welding equipment.
- Apply automotive cosmetic repairs such as sanding, auto painting, auto refinishing, and auto glass installation to restore vehicle appearance.
- Use automotive parts installation skills to replace or repair damaged components, ensuring proper fitment and alignment.
- Operate airless paint spraying equipment for vehicle painting projects, maintaining quality standards throughout the process.
- Assist with auto restoration projects by fabricating custom parts and performing detailed fabrication repair techniques.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair processes, estimating work scope, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the repair journey.
Experience
- Dealership experience or prior work as an automotive body technician is highly preferred.
- Proven expertise in automotive structural repair, auto body repair, and sheet metal fabrication.
- Hands-on experience with MIG welding, soldering, and automotive welding equipment.
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle maintenance and automotive parts installation.
- Skilled in using sanding tools, power tools, hand tools, and automotive cosmetic repair techniques.
- Familiarity with auto restoration processes, auto painting methods including airless paint spraying, and auto glass replacement.
- Strong understanding of automotive damage assessment, auto estimating procedures, and working as an automotive body technician in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
