Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment in accordance with applicable NEC requirements.
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Perform electrical wiring, conduit installation, equipment connections, and related installation tasks.
- Complete low-voltage wiring installations for applicable electrical systems.
- Inspect electrical installations to identify potential hazards, defects, and code compliance issues.
- Diagnose electrical problems and implement effective solutions.
- Follow established safety procedures when handling electrical equipment, tools, and materials.
- Communicate professionally with customers, explain work requirements, and provide excellent customer service.
- Coordinate with team members, supervisors, and other trades to complete projects efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of completed work, materials used, and any issues requiring follow-up.
- Keep work areas organized and ensure tools and equipment are handled safely.
- Support project completion by maintaining quality standards and meeting established schedules.
Qualifications and Experience
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license or credentials appropriate for the electrical work being performed.
- Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician or in a similar commercial, industrial, or residential electrical role.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring methods, grounding, and circuit protection.
- Familiarity with current NEC requirements and applicable local electrical codes.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and installation plans.
- Experience with low-voltage wiring and electrical equipment installation.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team.
- Physical ability to perform essential electrical work, including lifting materials and working on ladders, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites as required.

Work Location and Environment
