Required - To have a Texas Plumbing License or Apprentice Regristration issued by the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners. **If you do not hold a license or regristration, do not apply.**
We are a growing residential service plumbing company looking for an experienced plumber or advanced apprentice who wants more than a traditional service position.
This opportunity is for someone interested in developing into a working field supervisor and eventually managing a team of plumbing professionals they helped train.
The selected individual will initially work directly alongside an experienced licensed plumber while also receiving guidance from company management. The focus will be on learning our plumbing procedures, service standards, operational systems, and expectations before taking on leadership responsibilities.
We are looking for someone who wants to grow with the company and help build a team over the next several years.
The Career Opportunity
This position is designed to develop through three stages.
Stage 1 – Training & Development
Work directly alongside an experienced licensed plumber and company management to learn our residential service procedures, troubleshooting methods, pricing systems, customer service expectations, and daily operations.
During this stage, the focus will be on learning, demonstrating technical ability, and developing a strong understanding of how the company operates.
Stage 2 – Field Trainer
Once qualified, begin taking responsibility for training and developing new employees while continuing to perform residential service plumbing.
Initially, this may involve training one or two apprentices or less-experienced plumbers, helping them develop their skills, work habits, and understanding of company procedures.
Stage 3 – Working Field Supervisor
As the team grows, transition into a working supervisory role responsible for overseeing the employees you helped train.
Responsibilities will expand to include employee development, workmanship inspections, productivity, accountability, customer satisfaction, and daily field operations.
Our long-term goal is to develop a leader capable of supervising a growing team, potentially reaching ten or more employees over the next several years.
Advancement will depend on demonstrated ability, leadership, reliability, and company growth.
