We are seeking an experienced Autobody Heavy Frame Technician to join our team in a clean, professional work environment.
Position Details
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
- Weekends: No weekends required
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect collision damage and determine required repairs.
- Remove and replace damaged body panels, quarter panels, doors, floor panels, and rear body sections.
- Pull and straighten vehicle frames using frame machines and measuring systems.
- Repair dents and perform sheet-metal work.
- Weld, solder, and fabricate structural components.
- Align panels and ensure proper gaps and fit.
- Use collision-repair tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic/measuring equipment.
- Prepare completed repairs for painting, when required.
- Follow manufacturer repair procedures and safety standards.
- Complete high-quality repairs efficiently, sometimes without direct supervision.
- Document work and communicate repair needs with estimators or managers.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must meet all three requirements:
- Experience with aluminum welding
- Ability to install panels using a rivet gun
- Prior OEM manufacturer certifications
