Residential Service Plumber – Experienced / High Producing

Lex's Plumbing | Frisco, TX / North DFW

Lex's Plumbing is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Residential Service Plumber who takes pride in doing exceptional plumbing work, delivering great customer service, and producing at a high level.

We're looking for the complete service technician — someone who can diagnose it, communicate it, sell it, perform it correctly, and stand behind it.

This isn't a sales-only position, and we don't believe in high-pressure tactics. Your plumbing knowledge and workmanship have to back up what you sell.

What's In It For You?

20% commission on total ticket
High earning potential based on performance
401(k) with company match up to 6%
Health insurance
Dental insurance
Vision insurance
Paid time off
Paid sick time
Company truck
Company fuel card
Company-provided residential service calls
Established customer base
Strong marketing support
Flat-rate pricing
Office and dispatch support
Weekly training and coaching
Opportunities to run and sell larger plumbing projects
Growth opportunities as Lex's Plumbing continues to expand
Shared on-call rotation

What You'll Do

You'll run residential plumbing service calls throughout Frisco and the North DFW area, including:

Diagnose and troubleshoot residential plumbing systems
Water heater and tankless repair/replacement
Drain and sewer diagnostics
Sewer repairs
Leak detection and repair
Slab leak reroutes
Water and sewer repipes
Gas repairs
PRVs and pressure issues
Fixture repair and replacement
General residential plumbing service

You'll be expected to diagnose thoroughly, communicate your findings clearly, provide customers with appropriate options, and perform high-quality work.

What We're Looking For

We want an experienced plumber who:

Takes serious pride in their workmanship
Has strong residential diagnostic skills
Provides exceptional customer service
Communicates confidently with homeowners
Can present and sell repair/replacement options without being pushy
Understands how to identify legitimate additional plumbing needs
Produces strong numbers without sacrificing quality
Properly tests and documents their work
Takes ownership of callbacks and mistakes
Is competitive, coachable, and accountable

A big ticket isn't a win if the work isn't right.

At the same time, technical ability alone doesn't make a great service plumber. You need to be able to help homeowners understand what you found, explain their options, make a professional recommendation, and confidently ask for the work.

What It Takes

Current Texas plumbing license
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Residential service and repair experience
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic ability
Professional appearance and communication
Ability to work independently
Ability to perform the physical requirements of residential plumbing
Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation

Previous success in a performance-based residential service environment is strongly preferred.

If you've been a top producer, we want to hear about it.

Be prepared to talk about your experience, average ticket, close rate, revenue production, larger projects you've sold and completed, and how you take care of your customers.

Great plumber. Great with people. Strong producer.

If that's you, apply. We'd like to talk.
