Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Plumber to join our construction and maintenance team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience with construction plumbing, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role involves working on various projects including remodeling, commercial installations, and repair work across different construction sites. Candidates should be comfortable with heavy lifting, using hand and power tools, and have a solid understanding of HVAC systems and pipe threading. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects in a dynamic environment, contributing to high-quality building solutions.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and repairs
Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to complete plumbing tasks
Perform remodeling work including carpentry, assembly, and handyman repairs as needed
Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely on construction sites
Collaborate with team members to ensure projects meet safety standards and quality expectations
Assist with HVAC system installation and maintenance when required
Follow all safety protocols on construction sites, including proper use of personal protective equipment

Skills

Proven experience in construction plumbing, remodeling, or related trades
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, schematics, and blueprint reading
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during installations
Familiarity with HVAC systems and commercial driving is a plus
Construction site experience is highly desirable
Good problem-solving skills with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams
Handyman experience or carpentry skills are advantageous for versatile project support

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.48 - $36.71 per hour
