Commercial HVAC Service Technician

Tamiami, FL | Servicing Miami-Dade & Broward Counties
$28–$35/hour | Full-Time | Field-Based

We are actively seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC-R Service Technician to support commercial clients throughout Miami-Dade and Broward County. This role is ideal for a technician with strong troubleshooting, repair, installation, and chiller experience looking for a stable long-term opportunity with overtime potential and growth.

Spanish bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply, but all candidates MUST be fluent in English.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC-R systems
Service chillers, rooftop units, split systems, heat pumps, and refrigeration equipment
Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical system issues
Perform refrigerant handling and recovery procedures
Install and program thermostats, including smart HVAC systems
Complete air conditioning installations and full system replacements
Service and maintain heating systems and heat pumps
Fabricate, install, and modify ductwork as needed
Perform soldering and brazing work
Conduct ventilation and airflow balancing
Use HVAC diagnostic tools to evaluate and troubleshoot system performance
Perform load calculations for proper system sizing
Read and interpret system layouts, schematics, and basic blueprints
Ensure all work complies with applicable building codes and safety standards
Complete preventative maintenance, inspections, and service documentation

Requirements

Minimum 4 years of commercial HVAC-R experience
Strong experience with diagnostics, repairs, and installations
Chiller experience REQUIRED
MUST speak fluent English
Ability to troubleshoot commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems independently
Ability to read blueprints and system layouts
EPA Certification preferred
Experience working with smart HVAC systems is a plus
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
MUST be able to pass a drug screening and background check
Strong communication and customer service skills
Spanish bilingual is a strong plus

Compensation & Benefits

$28–$35/hour based on experience
