Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sheet Metal Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sheet metal fabrication and assembly, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This position requires proficiency in using various tools and equipment, including an ohmmeter, to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal products according to specifications and blueprints.
Utilize hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and join sheet metal components.
Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Perform maintenance on machinery and tools to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Troubleshoot issues related to sheet metal fabrication processes and equipment.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Mechanic or similar role in the manufacturing industry.
Proficiency in using an ohmmeter and other relevant tools for measuring and testing.
Strong understanding of blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Ability to read and interpret measurement instruments accurately.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the workplace.
