This position requires proficiency in using various tools and equipment, including an ohmmeter, to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal products according to specifications and blueprints.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and join sheet metal components.
- Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Perform maintenance on machinery and tools to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Troubleshoot issues related to sheet metal fabrication processes and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Mechanic or similar role in the manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in using an ohmmeter and other relevant tools for measuring and testing.
- Strong understanding of blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Ability to read and interpret measurement instruments accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the workplace.
