About the Role — Fire Alarm Repairs Lead Technician

This person will serve as the technical backbone of our repairs operation, working directly with management and sales to perform high-level troubleshooting and repair work. The focus is primarily fire alarm, with a secondary emphasis on fire sprinkler systems. Beyond hands-on repair work, they will direct work assignments for a team of at least three technicians, ensuring jobs are completed on time, and will interface directly with customers and sales reps to help scope and write repair proposals when needed. As a secondary duty, this role may also be called upon to perform fire alarm, fire sprinkler, and special hazards inspections on an as-needed basis. This candidate must be able to pass a background check and have a clean MVR.

A critical part of this role is the ability to mentor younger and less experienced technicians — helping to build the next generation of our technical team. The right candidate takes pride not just in their own work, but in raising the skill level of those around them.

Required Experience & Certifications

NICET Level II or higher (fire alarm systems) — required
Fluent working knowledge of Notifier fire alarm systems
Fluent working knowledge of Fike gas detection and special hazards systems
Aptitude and willingness to learn additional manufacturer platforms
Strong command of multimeters and electrical troubleshooting
Proven ability to handle high-level fire alarm repair work independently
Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop less experienced technicians

Preferred / Plus

Working knowledge of standard notification appliance circuits (NAC)
Voice evacuation system experience
Fire sprinkler exposure or certifications

Location, Compensation & Benefits

Based out of our Tempe, AZ operation
Full-time, immediate start preferred
Base pay starting at $40.00/hr and up, commensurate with certifications and experience
